Wide receiver Wes Welker with patriots jersey moved out more than three weeks from having knee injury. And his road to recovery has had no bumps. A league source told the Boston Herald that Welker is doing "very well", considering how early he is in the rehabilitation process.
There are no guarantees that Welker will be ready to play when the season begins because of the severe nature of repairing a torn left ACL. With Welker’s health something New England officials will watch closely all season and the long-term status of Randy Moss in question, it increases the chances a team will select a wide receiver in the early parts of the 2010 draft.
